Tau - acrylic painting on stretched canvas

It's meaning depends on your perspective. Many cultures have used this symbol through the centuries and each means something a little different, it is used in maths and science and the meaning it applies to you will be what you feel drawn to. There were so many faces in the first layer of clouds I was tempted to leave it as it was, everywhere I dabbed the brush these amazing little anomalies would appear, but I felt the need to add the layers. Some still remain but if you look really closely the others are still there, just much more hidden in the veils of layers. 16x16 inch acrylic on stretched canvas 2 x coats of acrylic varnish ***

Apple of my eye

I started just wanted do draw an abstract apple; Just a fun little piece, which if you had seen on my instagram it's first layers, had abstract palm shapes to the sides. Then I started seeing Adam and Eve themes and the snake was strangling the apple and when I decided to post a photo to instagram as a way to wrap up my session, I noticed the little mark in the top middle. It's hilarious thinking back, because it was late and night and I have terrible art space lighting, and all I could see in the camera was this eye looking at me from every angle I stood. I was actually a little bit freaked out. Also, hidden in the snakes head you can see an eye. I would love to delve further into the possible meaning, especially the snake strangling the apple, which could be anthropomorphic/symbolical, being it has an eye but for now, I need to get back into painting again. Stars in her Eyes

This is the final product. I decided to leave it basically as is, added a little more orange for the starlet fake tan look.
