Give me a sign - abstract flow watercolor

It was just after 1am and the kitties woke me up to tell me something was going on, after investigation I discovered a big green tree frog had gotten in and was sitting in my robe terrified.

After the excitement and the very jumpy froggo placed carefully outside with his mates, I was wide awake and had a touch of a headache, so decided to stay up with some headache tablets and have a little relaxing flow paint.

I gathered the paint and paints, water and brushes and before I taped the paper to the board I heard

"give me a sign"

so I quickly wrote it on the back of the paper and taped it to the board.

Sometimes it's just beautiful to watch the watercolor fall where it wants, just to drip it and watch what it does when I turn it this way and that, and whilst doing this my little girl (kitty) come and sat in front of me and looked up at me and I heard

"I'm right here"

Which garnered many kisses and of course cuddles I slapped in a little kitten shadow with the pearlescent paints, careful not to disturb the paint already dried and only create the illusion of rather than a finite shape, and thought I had finished.

I propped the board up against the wall with the still wet paint to take a picture for the instagram that I always forget to update, and noticed that the paint splotches underneath resembled a rough face, like there was someone looking out from behind the veil of the kitty shape.

It was them I looked at my little girl and smiled and loved on more.

The face is not there now it is dried, because sometimes we just need the right perspective to see things which we would not see in others.
