Glass paint pallets seem to be all the rage from what I have seen on social media and as the tempered, specially designed glass designed to be used as a palette is out of most peoples reaches, people have been "making do" with glass frames etc, that have terribly flimsy glass.
I wanted to write this post specifically, to share and hopefully avoid, any bad accidents of people using improper glass.
Ceramics.
Glossy ceramics.
On little projects or small mixed I use plates from thrift store and larger mixes I use ceramic tiles.
You can get them in so many colors so you can mix on a toned surface similar to your 1st layer to make color mixing easier, and like glass is easy to clean.
The best feature? The cost.
Perfect for us less affluent and just as effective.
