I started this little guy on the Saturday and never really got back into him until a few days ago, after the miraculous Easter Friday manifestation I was a little bit humbled and thought it too much for a fun whimsical bunny for Easter, but it feels so wasteful unfinished pieces, so I finihsed him.
He's very textured!

I knew I wanted a bunny, but the only one that stood out was these colorful and a little dark bunnies, and he came out somewhat comical and a little dark which somehow represents the last year and continues as such.
The violas ( I am just researching now why) apparently to cut short a longer story
Are these past dark years something given to us to learn from in order to protect ourselves for the future?
Is this the message here?
This year (rebirth) seems just as dark hence the darkness of the bunny and the scene, the vibrant colour all the goings on and the violas, the message that this is happening to help us survive, to shelter us from what could be darker if we do not reminisce over the past events?
I don't know? I think he's cute as and whimsical and sweet and just chubby enough to make him cuddly too!
